Ettie Explores Earth

Have you ever heard of a Daa-r’uu Wee-z’oo or a Fuu-l’oo Goo-b’aa? You might be surprised to know that, as strange as they may sound, they are simply the Green Cheeze names for creatures that look very similar to our dogs and cats on Earth.

 

In Ettie Explores Earth, kids join a friendly and very curious alien named Ettie on an entertaining and educational adventure in which they get to be both student and teacher. While Ettie begins by explaining facts about Earth’s solar system, the space explorer soon needs young readers’ help to answer all sorts of questions about the surface of the Earth—especially about the many animals living in our cities, farms, forests, and jungles.

 

Kids will love sharing their knowledge of the animal kingdom as they introduce the quirky alien visitor to cows, bears, and more. They’ll be delighted to discover that similar creatures live on the planet Green Cheeze, and they’re bound to get a kick out of trying to pronounce Ettie’s funny-sounding names for them.
